Oracle Database 11G:XML Development

This course introduces you to the features in Oracle XML DB for Oracle Database 11g. You learn how to use the new binary XML storage model, and the new index type XMLIndex. In this course, you learn how to make changes to an XML schema without requiring that existing data be copied, deleted and reinserted. This course also covers how to use native Oracle XML DB Web services. You learn to use the two new SQL functions to compare and patch XML documents. This course also covers Unified Java API support for XMLType, Oracle XDK Pull Parser API, and streaming validator support.
